MISSION OF THE DSMA
The mission of the DSMA is to create an interest
in and promote amateur softball in the City of
Dallas
and to encourage harmony and cooperation
among its participants, officials, and spectators.

ABOUT THE DSMA
DSMA is the Dallas
Softball
Managers Association,
the adult softball program sponsored by the
Dallas
Park
and Recreation Department. DSMA offers three seasons--Spring,
Summer and Fall--with various levels of competition for Men's, Women's and Coed
play. Leagues are offered at several parks around the city on Sundays through
Fridays with game times ranging from
6:45PM
to
9:45PM.
The DSMA softball leagues are governed by the rules of the Amateur Softball Association (ASA), the national association governing amateur softball competition, and the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF), the state association governing amateur athletic competition among member cities. Top finishers in the city championship tournaments advance to State and Regional competition in both TAAF and ASA.
DSMA Advisory Council
The DSMA Advisory Council is a group of
volunteers who make up the governing body of the organization. The Advisory
Council works in a committee environment through which they shape the rules and
operation of the adult softball program for the City of Dallas.

occasionally to review and discuss the DSMA softball program.. We encourage coaches, players and other knowledgeable softball
enthusiasts who may be interested in participating on the council to attend the
meetings, as well as those who have ideas, comments, or suggestions to share. If
