The City
of Dallas proudly offers
Kiest Park, its state-of-the-art softball
complex, for tournament play. Features include 6 fields with 300’ fences,
fairway-perfect outfields, infields maintained throughout the day, great
lighting, huge warm-up areas, spacious dugouts supplied with cold water, completely
covered spectator seating with back-supporting bleachers, concessions and
more (see photos in this website Photo Gallery).

The Tournament Registration form is
available online to print and mail to the Athletic Office, along with your
money order or cashier's check made payable to FOK (Friends of Kiest)

2010 KIEST TOURNAMENT REWARDS POINT
SYSTEM
- Teams earn
points for every paid entry in a Kiest Park-sponsored (run by the
Dallas Park and Recreation Department) USSSA, ASA or
TAAF sanctioned tournament (DSMA City Playoffs do not count)
- Points are
awarded to a “team”, which is defined by:
- Team name –
must be identified by the same Name/ID number all season
- Roster –
must have at least 7 players from the official roster playing in each
tournament (if USSSA, must be posted on the USSSA website)
- Points are
awarded per tournament on the following scale:

1st
place = 5 points
|
|
2nd
place = 4 points
|
|
3rd
place = 3 points
|
|
4th
place = 2 points
|
|
All
other teams earn 1 point
|
A
bonus point will be awarded for every 5 tournaments that a team enters
(paid entries)
- A team will be
awarded a free tournament entry to any 2009 Kiest-sponsored USSSA or
ASA tournament (up to $175) upon accumulating twelve (12) Kiest
Tournament Points
-
The team
with the highest overall point total earned in 2009 will be awarded a
free tournament entry in 2010 (up to $175)
- When a team
redeems its points for a free tournament entry, their Kiest Rewards
Point total will be reset to zero (0)
- A team may
“buy” a point for $75.00
- If a team
earns its “free entry” points in the final tournament of the 2008
Kiest tournament schedule, then that free entry can carry-over into
the 2009 season.
